We need to keep the media aware of this isuue...

The following letters are relevant to many unadopted roads all over Sunderland and indeed all over the country. Therefore if you are a resident of an unadopted road in Sunderland or anywhere else for that matter and you would like to make use of any of them, simply ‘down-load’ or ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ your chosen letter/letters. Then, simply alter the text shown in 'RED' and any other details that may not apply in your case and send it as a letter or as an ‘e-mail’ to your local councillor, your local MP/MEP, your local/national newspaper, your local/national TV or radio station etc.

The more letters that are sent the more chance we have of being heard and the more chance we have of resolving the problem of unadopted roads. Together we can make a difference, so start sending those letters today.

Whilst our campaign concerns unadopted roads here in Sunderland, TRAC would welcome the formation of similar campaigns wherever unadopted roads exist. So if you live in an unadopted road outside the Sunderland area and you would like to start your own campaign you can contact us for advice and help. We will put you in touch with any other residents in your area who have contacted us because they too live on unadopted roads. Maybe you could even join us by 'association' by calling yourself: TRAC in 'Bradford', The Road Adoption Campaign in Kent or wherever.
